Very cool Nate!!!

 :smt007 :smt007

If you paddle south of Timber Cove to the birdshit rocks, the outer/bigger rock has some killer structure and stupid amounts of big urchin...

Def want to see that finished project!  +1 on the South Side of Caspar.  Kick out the the edge of the cove and there are fields of big-uns.

I didn't think this needed to be said, but just to be clear, the artwork is done by none other than Amadeo Bachar.

I used to fill old onion sacks with them when we dove Ano Nuevo.
If we didn't find Abs we found urchins.I gave them to a friend and he gave me free dinners
on cannery row! We cleaned them out, removed the spines and placed elec.candles inside, cool patterns of light come thru the holes.
I've seen big ones @ Salt Point also. Just a tip..

Please tell us more about the project you're going to use them for, always curious. I always find massive urchin below 40', pretty much anywhere, even within a 15 minute drive of San Francisco.
