Any idea of the gas burn rate for an hour at 70 mph?

It burns the same amount of gas as his 28ft Donzi with the twin Mercs.

At $4.30 a gallon (your price may vary, last time I filled my Harley with 91 Octane that was the price, I assume your buddy puts high octane in there)64.3*4.30= $276.49 an hour at 70 MPH

But 565/36.9=15.312 Gallons per hour or $65.84 an hour, which leads me to believe  he doesn't run WOT (Wide Open Throttle)as much as he would like or?

If you check Cloud Free from Terrafin it still looks very promising. The big blow turned the surface temp down in my opinion. Their will be lots of hunters this weekend with big boats. I know of a few leaving from HMB and Monterey. Both the Dog Bone and Guide is their present course. I hope they find them.

Any new news????

Haven't heard anything. I still have to get a salmon or two.  Will try tomorrow.  As for tuna, water is still not warm up near noyo and out of my range. 

The water cooler ALOT the past few days, and the tuna water pushed way offshore, too far.  The weather didn't allow any boats to go looking.  But it will be a few days/week before the warm water builds again.

I heard the same thing. 

Some went 60 miles out of ft. Bragg a couple days ago and didn't get any.

107 miles from HMB!  This is the 4-pack I started using last year.  Now you know what I love Cappy Tom, he'll bust his nuts to put you on albacore.  This guy has tuna blood running through his veins.

Went fishing with Captn Tom last year. The day before it was WFO (like always!) but a current came in and the albies were hard to find. We had six fish on the boat but Tom didn't want to give up and we agreed to fish longer and caught a couple more.  Got back to the dock after 10:00pm but were supposed to get back by 5:00!  He definitely wants his clients to catch fish and will do the work for you.

Dang...35lb avg size up to 44lbs?!!!
