Had the exact same knife for two years, and liked it.  But it did rust, once I forgot to do it's daily spray of WD40.  I gave one of these a shot, and so far I like it a lot.  Hasn't rusted on me yet, with the same treatment of WD40.  But, I also never use it for anything.  It's job is to stay on my PFD for when I really need it.   http://www.amazon.com/Saturna-Blunt-River-Handle-Stainless/dp/B000FJK1OG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1405134878&sr=8-5&keywords=blunt+dive+knife

Thanks for the advise on the knife!  I just got 2 of these in the mail today and they look like pretty good knives at an awesome price!

I like the fact you are are able to take the handle off and oil the hell out of it  :smt002

They replace it with newer style!

That's not a newer style.  That's a re-introduction of the original River Shorty, which has been around for maybe more than 20 years.  The new ones are now made in the US, whereas the older ones were not.  I got my first River Shorty in 1995.  Over time I've had the River Shorty, the River Runner, and the River Mate.  The River Mate does seem to rust more.  The River Shorty and Runner get surface rust if you don't take care of them, but it rubs right off.  I prefer the River Runner the most (something about liking knives with a point to them!), but lost my last one last year, and replaced it with the "new" River Shorty, since the River Runner is out of production.  I asked Gerber if they'd re-introduce the River Runner too, and they said it would likely stay out of production.   :smt009

Sports Chalet carries that knife. I have one and its my back up knife.  One wrong bump on the sheath and it falls off.  This is what I use for last 5 years:
