I'm heading up to Noyo tomorrow.  Anyone else fishing there this weekend?

I'll be up there tomorrow with 3 other buddies on yaks. Look for a Subaru Forrester rolling in with 2 matching OK Prowler 13s on top. We'll probably be OTW by 8.

I got to get a doulble deep six.  Nice job on the limit.

The bite in Albion cooled off today although they are still there, but lots of griping on the radio from the sports boats. I was partially preoccupied with a friend from NC who had never fished from a kayak. I set him up mooching and helped him land a lingcod and we goofed up landing his salmon hook up. I had no bites trolling but will prob try Ft Bragg in the morning again. I'll have my radio, maybe see some of you otw.

Question on daily limit for salmon...going out tomorrow...so I checked the regs and it says limit is two if by land....one if by vessel....and a Kayak is considered a vessel per state regs. Have the regs changed this year?  I'm confused.

Daily limit is 2. Possession is 4. Technically, catch your daily limit of 2 today then fish for another limit of 2 tomorrow. Then you're done. Haven't heard of  1 limit on salmon.

Thanks for clarifying....this is where I read the limit of one per vessel....so where are you seeing two per vessel?

General Sport Regulations
Possession limit: No more than two daily bag limits may be possessed when on land. On a vessel in ocean waters, no person shall possess or bring ashore more than one daily bag limit.

Huh?? You just wrote it yourself. It says no more one daily limit of salmon. Your daily limit is 2 salmon.

One Daily limit = 2 salmon

Brain fart....was confusing bag limit of one with number of fish in the bag limit (two) . This is what happens when you skip coffee in the morning....
