Pretty sure it just has to be a circle hook. That's a nice looking hook, but I like the offset eye of the Gama for snelling.

Still yet to catch one mooching, so take this with a grain of salt...

Sweet offset shank all the way then! I'll give those owner light mutus a try this year.

A circle hook is defined as a hook with a generally circular shape, and a point which turns inwards, pointing directly to the shank at a 90 degree angle.

Yikes I guess the inline circle is how it has to be....  Thanks for the heads up Crash!

Canning is easy.  with albacore I like 1/2 pints.  Sometimes I put fresh jalepenos or fresh serrano peppers at the bottom.  Just cut 4 or 5 slices per a jar.  As for salmon sometimes I add garlic.  My buddy Tony has a good recipe for canned smoked salmon.  Cold smoke it for a half hour then can it.  It works great.

The "Tournament" version of the Owner Mutu Light circle hook has an in-line point and is legal for all circle hook applications including billfish. Personally, I think the shape is harder for fish to throw the hook.
