What's up Guys

So I ordered an new kayak last week, but I'm not new to kayak fishing. I grew up in San Diego where I ocean kayak fished all the time, from La Jolla to Sunset Cliffs I've pulled in a countless of Lings and Calico bass, and even trolled for Mako, but never got one (the anticipation was enough though) .  I've been doing more surf fishing and lake fishing lately, but it's not enough sitting on the shore, so I figured I'd get back into the sport. I've been reading this forum for a bit and it's been a great resource for launch locations once my kayak gets in, I originally ordered a Emotion Mojo Angler, but I cancelled the order today, cause I think i'll be happier with the Ocean Kayak Big Game Angler II Kayak, which should be in by mid May, just in time

Anyway, I'll be posting on here to find some fishing buddies, I plan on hitting up Santa Cruz area up to SF- I'm located in San Jose.

Welcome Matt!  Plenty of south bay guys here to fish with.  You should try to make GS8 if you're kayak arrives before then.

Another transplant, I'm an SD native also along with a few others on here. Welcome to the madness. Do what ever you can to make it to GS8. The lings and rockfish of SoCal can't hold a candle to NorCal fish.
