Went the headwaters swap meet today and I found my new baby. Yes for the first time I was the weirdo that showed up a couple hours early. Lol. I had to have her. I gave my son a $20 incentive to run and grab the tag on the boat at 9am sharp and he succeeded. She's rigged pretty well also. Only problem is I had to buy and leave town. Wish I could have put her on the lake today. I did pick up a stripped lower to build an ar15 on the way out town to console myself though. Lol

I took it out with the family for a few hours today. There's something to be said about being able to load it up with my sons paddle board, and walk a block to the Moke launch and cruise with the family down to lodi lake, pull out and walk home. It's so confusing not checking my trailer, tow vehicle, gear etc etc etc.  No fishing this time as I was just figuring it all out. I'm so stoked and can't wait to get some blood on this badboy. Nice to see you at the boat house as well Dan. I'm serious, you're  an awesome enabler. Lol I have a yak in the rafters for my sons bday in June. I can't wait! Hopefully I'll have some good reports soon. Im new to the forum so I might not have things unlocked etc. Is there a non public spot for fishing reports?

Sweet kayak and good deal! But I'm more interested in that pickup in the background!? What is it?
And yes, there is a public reports board and a private reports board--I think you can view the private board after 10 posts? Same deal with the Politics board.

So your son was the one that took me out on the way to the Hobie?   :smt044

Congrats on the Outback!  You're going to love that thing.
