I have one, may be a lesser model, so far I haven't been at all impressed. I'm not sure if it dosent support class one micro SD card or what exactly the problem is. Give me a day or two to fiddle with it, but, at this point I would recommend against it. I may figure it out, but it may end up as a toy for my 7 y.o. Then the fast track to the landfill. -Amos

My Shaper Image Action Cam is model SVC400, I think that they offer it in a couple of various versions some with higher pixels and HD frame rates. It is a complete dog. Mine doesn't want to recognize the micro SD card. The card I am using is a 16 gigabyte class 10 scan disk and should be good for lots of pictures and a couple of hours of video. Problem is when you turn the camera on 9 times out of 10 it has a "card read" error requiring the camera to be removed from its housing so the card can be fiddled around with. It only works when the "mode" button and card have been inserted and depressed in some magical and random combination of pushes. It is utterly unreliable and frustrating and if I was ever to capture any pics it would be a total fluke. I got it for ten bucks(new) and it was still a rip off.

Back in the day, I worked at Sharper Image. And I was amazed how many "Sharper Image" branded products were returned due to malfunctioning/breaking/poor craftsmanship. I would never buy anything with the SI logo on it (especially electronics). Maybe I'm biased... after all, returned items were removed from your monthly commission totals. But seriously, don't buy SI electronics.
