You guys know that I have been actively working on the same idea for years, but for a kayak cart, so that we can more easily portage kayaks over difficult terrain, up and down the hill at elk, etc.  I've made significant progress with the exception of making the dolly hover.  I am more than willing to accept any investment you have into my project though.

I've found out that if I invest time taking newbies along on kayak adventures, they would carry my kayak to the beach and back for me. 

I'm sure they could be made. They just wouldn't be quite as small, nor would they go so high. Heck, you can make your own hovercraft these days!
