WOW!
Now that is a big striper...much more rare than a 63lb stripper. Hahahaha!

Here is the info:

we were jigging parachutes under a school of small bues/bass...catching same.....waiting for night to fall to eel for the biguns..i jigged for a while & stopped to take a 1/4 crank on the reel when she hit..(took a lot of ribbing over that).....she took some line & i thought to myself...this is definatly a keeper...lol...when i got her within sight she came up & i could see her back & fins i knew she was big....i had to drop the rod tip & back up so the captain & crew could boat the beast & i didnt know for sure how big she was till she made that thud on the deck.... you know the thud that usually comes from some OTHER lucky son of a guns fish....this time she was mine
belly was completely empty as far as i could tell (i didnt actually cut her)

so she was meandering around under a large school of blues...lazily piking up scraps & whatever....til captain john of the sundowner 2, who actually deserves all the credit, put a lucky son of a gun (me)into the fish of a lifetime
im getting a mount of her(glass)on a pole that slides into the ground in the flower garden...she will be comming up out of the flowers around my pool chasing an eel
i wish i would have swiped the lure that duped her for the mount...but over all im pretty happy with the experiance
been fishing as far as i can remember....started with dad surfcasting in porpoise channel....then in freshwater lakes in my teens & 20s....did alot of guides in fla for a while first in fresh then on to salt & got the itch to own a boat & fish local waters from my bro....learned alot from this site....really enjoy fishing & taking my 3 boys out....whats better than that?

Nah, just means you stumbled into the strip joint by the chocolate factory.  ;)
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early.
