Anybody fishing mid-week?

Allen:Last nite I read the negative last- Sat. and Tues reports and seriously considered reconsidering Davenport, but I got up early this morning and read your note and this poetry:

 "Currently...a surface trough sits over the California coast keeping the
onshore flow at Bay...and the majority of stratus away."*

  Then I decided it should be a nice day in Davenport.  It sure can be pretty there when the stratus/fog starts to roll back and you look up the coast to the mountains rising from the sea.   
     I'll be on 69, or if it's full of whiners, 71.  I'll probably stay out front til you arrive, so if you need help, give me a call. 
     *Tho some fog in Live Oak at 5:15am
                                                               

If anybody is still considering Stillwater/Carmel, I contacted the Beach Club regarding coastal access parking on friday and I was told no vehicle traffic in the area Thursday through Sunday.
