That was me on the yellow Kayak, one hell of a paddle. Launched out of the harbor, down to the green can and back up to the contest, 1hour 20 minutes of paddling and hella sketchy but way worth it. Watched the whole contest 7 hours on the water, could barely walk when I got back in. Being on a kayak the harbor patrol let me closer than allot of the boats to keep me out of the traffic. What a great experience being so close, seeing all of the amazing rides and some horrific wjpeouts. Still tired today must have paddled about 8 miles, now off to the Supercross races.

Nice pics! SLR on the kayak? You're brave my friend. It'd be cool to drop some crab pots, watch the contest, then finish the day with a crab feast.
