Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.

Here's the dip in bucket for that hatch. I'll take a close look at the 2014's tomorrow I know it can be done on any older kayaks for sure. Look on the Hobie cat forums there's lots of info on this mod.

Nice!  I would love to do this one on mine.  One of my biggest complaints, not much storage.

Only online place I found was Austin, but I got mine at a local dealer, I also doubled the seal just for precautionary measures. Blasted it with the hose on strait stream form all angles and nothing leaked.

So check with the local shops, sure Headwaters can get them in.

Very Nice!  Is there anything similar that might work with a Revo?

Not really any to my knowledge, Was one of the reason I went with the Outback when I got a new yak.

cant see if being added to the adventure either, but maybe hobie in a year or two will see how much they are liked ad change all the other yaks to accept it or something similar.

Thanks, but it did not answer my question, what brand and size tackle boxes fit inside, or do they come with the hatch ?

The hatch doesn't come with anything. The flip up tray in a PA is what it's designed for and fits the waterproof plano's, 2 of the blue ones.

Look at this page http://www.duckworksbbs.com/hardware/hatches/dpi-rec/index.htm

DPF1115 same size and they have smaller sizes. I think the price is doable as well. I'd call them first and ask some questions. like how flush it is. (The price here is 37.25) for the outside dimensions. I do not think they have it in Back. But many Hobies are dune and would look good on them.

I believe these are the same hatch thats on the PA.  If so, the Plano 3640 fits.
