It would use the same transducer that came with the unit.  The 'Lowrance Scupper Mount' is about $40 & looks like the picture below ..... which isn't a good image of how it installs.

this the the one I use nice clean install but I do have scupper cut outs on the bottom and a deep channel that runs the length of the yak.it stays tucked so no issues with the transducer on a beach launch. hope it helps.
