The trident will sit a little higher than the caper, and will also track a little better.
You can get the trident without the hatch, but it will have a molded in tray. Personally, the hatch just gives you more versatility

Scrambler xt is an option. I've owned a couple of them and they are a good value...
Oh and MBK has some used P13's for $400 right now too.

So I just showed her the Tetra 12 and she likes the look, and the fact that it is similar to the trident but a little less center space used  with the hatch, anybody ride one of these?
