No fish to report. Today wasn't as much about fishing as it was reminiscing about our godfather/ friend. The weather was wierd. It rained only for a few we seconds. Then the sky opened up and shined down as I was watching this a bald eagle flew from its perch to another and gave a mighty eagle screech. I kept starring at my rod tips thinking keep the bounce, not to fast, let out enough line. These thoughts ingrained in my head. When I realized that Mooch is the one who shined his light down and now his knowledge and spirit is within me even if I don't always realize it....I love you brother.

sometimes it is best to just go fishing and be thankful for the fact that you can. I will forever be fishing for the ones who cant any longer.  :smt010

I think I'm feeling the same way Chad. I posted a report yesterday, afterwards wondering if it really had any meaning.
Feeling melancholy.

good try anyway bruddah.

Every time I hear a squealing reel as a fish takes line I think of Joel's "fish on" scream. It's a good thing.

Sweet picture, even if I had to turn my head sideways :-)
There's something about an eagle's booming screetch that raises the hair on the back of my neck. It's like an audible reminder of what this country stands for...freedom! Or maybe I just watch the Colbert Report too much.

Don't doubt for a second that it does, Juan.
