I'll be there this Friday, the 4th. If no one responds, then I'll either bank it, or do something I've been wanting to do for a while - snorkel a section. If there's interest, we can float down to Sycamore Ranch.

Wish I could join Friday but can't.    Good luck if you go.  Would be interesting to snorkel.  I was thinking exactly the same.   That water looked so good yet turned out so few fish for me.  But I know they are there.   Saw a bunch jumping way clear out of the water but couldn't catch them.    Interesting to find out what you see down there.

I'd like to join for Sunday as well. It sounds like some of you know the area pretty well, but in case you were not aware of it there is a great kayak only launch just before the hwy 20 bridge. Unfortunately the road is not named. There is a right turn only lane and you can see a large white outbuilding from the highway. Turn right and drive past the outbuilding and there is a trail that goes right down to the water. Where were you planning on meeting?

Hey Bio-
Sounds like you know that area even better!
That's good info for next trip which I hope will be soon.

Ted and I went LAST Sunday.   I think Scott is planning for this Friday.  I cant make this weekend and I haven't heard of any other Sunday plans.

I'm heading from Reno to the coast next week, more than likely Tues. Anyone want to try a float? Scott you had mentioned the feather, want to do it? I've never fished this area at all, would love to give it a shot. If not, I might hit Lake Almanor. Maybe I should post in hookups as I can float anywhere from Reno to the coast so there is a range of possibilities, like the Sac or Trinity as well.
