For gun racks, check out the Railblaza G-Holds.  Their web site shows some images of a run rack on a quad made from their G-Holds.  I have a number of their items on my AI.  Overall, I am ok with their product line.  Few things I'd change but that's how it goes.

Well, I though I had it figured out!  I've never seen that product line before, thanks for the intel, those look pretty slick.  :smt001

Just an FYI though.  Only their product will fit their bases.  As of right now, there is no adapter between RailBlaza & Ram, Scotty, etc...

Gotcha.  Truth told I'm not totally sold on the 'track' idea.  I should re-phrase, while I like the idea, the cost of the tracks and associated attachments/hardware has me thinking I'd be dropping a small fortune on them.  I also like to keep things as clean as possible.  By the time the track is installed, then the mount, then the base, then the actual piece of equipment, it turns into quite the piece of hardware.  Maybe that's just my old-school ways.  :smt002  Then again, it's nice to have options.

Hey Ben,

Congratz on the new outback! I saw you mention you were looking to add a sailing rudder. If you want, I have one brand new that I could let go for fairly cheap. I bought it for my PA-14, but it turned out to be incompatible and has been in my garage ever since.

Thanks,
Connor

Track is not needed for the RailBlaza system.  Though they do sell a "track" for theirs, you can purchase deck mounts in situations where you know where the placement will be w/o the need for adjustment.  (ie. G-Holds).
