Hey all,
I'm going to Tahoe Aug 11-17th with the family. I plan to bring my kayak or rent one. I've found some great info on the forums so far! Never fished there before so if anyone has any other pointers for this time of year, or know of a lake or river guide...I'm all ears!

Hey Zac! I don't know much about Tahoe yakfishing, but I bet some of these guys can help. There's a fresh report from Tahoe in the Members-Only Reports section--which becomes visible once you reach 10 posts! So post a few more times to unlock the Members Reports then you'll see Eric's kickass Tahoe report.

Hey all, anyone know a good place to rent kayaks for a few days in south lake tahoe? All the places I called are around $80 for a day (8hr) and I'm here for a week...

Calling Jude! Where you at? Or Zilla. Any info on the yak rental scene in South Lake?

Rentals are expensive up there from what I've seen - it's vacation land with lots of $$$ around, so rent one somewhere else and bring it up there?...

I found that there are now more SUP's at Tahoe than yaks.

Good luck out there.   :smt001

Yeah the SUPS are everywhere. Its $$$ for rentals, I found some good lake/river fishing spots and I might do a lake charter. I'll post a report by the end of the week

I'm heading up to Tahoe tomorrow for a few nights at DL Bliss with my little guy.  I'm bringing my "new"camo T13 that was won at the PIF.  Hope to get some fishing time in with my boy.  See ya up there.
