LOL! Hell yeah.  :smt003

I was kinda confused watching last night...was the whole thing just made up? They had some super quick text on the bottom of the screen at the very end saying it was dramatization, but was there really a boat that got sunk, and did they really create a 5 mile chum slick or was the whole show just fake?

 :smt012

Sincerely,

Jim

The tiny text at the end flew by too quick to read. It reminded me of the mermaid mockumentary.

You would think if a shark attacked and sank a boat it would have left a few teeth behind.

Yeah I tried to pause it and slow-mo it but my DVR control button thingys showed right on top of the text so I couldn't see it.  :smt012

That whole show seemed scripted to me, just the way everyone spoke seemed very planned out... That being said I wouldn't dispute the possibility they are out there.

Our planet is 3/4 water and 1/4 land.  Also they only search for "Big Foot" in a small area of the earth.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

Do I need a steel leader for catching one...

My 5 year old has been talking about megalodon's for weeks so we sat down and watched it this evening. Kinda cheesy and I slept through a bit of it but I can't say they aren't out there.

Why does our government spend so much more of our taxpayer dollars  investigating what's outside our planet (NASA) than researching our oceans?

I think there are a lot of things in the far depths we haven't seen and we may never see. The equipment required at this time to go extremely deep is quite heavy duty and like all elusive creatures if something big, bulky, and not normal shows up they are gonna make themselves scarce. Science keeps finding new life on land which for humans is relatively easy to traverse. I think there is a massive amount of creatures large and small that have never been seen by man in the ocean.

But what did you guys think of the Brazilian coast guard rescue video.  That thing was huge that swam by right after they lifted the swimmer out??

That cheese cake marine biologist had amassed a considerable price tag to do that expedition...

he had to come up with something to sell...

the chum guns were absolutely ridiculous... how effective was that...? and they must added something to the chum line to get such a dark color...  Hollywood....

Something with that kind of appetite and making surface strikes would have to have been seen ,,,

Like everyone has said,,,  one of the last frontiers and who really knows, but the show was cheesy...

entertaining, but cheesy... :smt003

One of the links on Megladon I watched online had them finding a whole tooth, not sure if that was part of the show you all are talking about.

Anyhow, my kid's orthodontist ($$) had one of those teeth displayed on his desk, he could afford it, it was the real deal, scary for sure,

In Baja you can go on fossil foraging trips and if you are lucky you may come across a Megladon tooth.
I've seen several of them that a couple of my friends have found out in the desert.

For some reason the name Megalodon is stuck in my head, and I never even watched the show!  Checked out some images of the teeth that they say are from them and boy, they are pretty big freaking teeth!!!  But came across this site, that actually sells them (and others).  Didn't know how expensive they are! http://www.sharksteeth.com/
