I'm thinking about heading out on Sunday maybe.  Weather looks good for this weekend.

As for a new'b .... there are always groups of rental people heading out from MBK towards the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  Maybe follow along at a distance?  Few reefs out that way to fish on.

Thanks Bill, I contacted MBK and they don't have a class at this moment due to min of two and I'm solo. Unfortunately I'm unavailable Sunday, the wife is running in the Warf to Warf. FYI, Gonna be real packed from the Boardwalk to Capitola on Sunday...

That's the reason I'm heading to Monterey vs. S.C.  MBK almost ALWAYS has large groups of kayaks going out on the weekends just to site see.  I can't remember a weekend where there wasn't a handful of rental kayaks out there.  It's not really a "class".  For those, they usually just give some brief instruction & let you cast off from the beach.  I doubt I will be out there on Saturday.  Haven't heard much in the way of fish reports so I might just go paddle & sail the yak on Sunday .... with a rod.
