I'll be able to get on the water and fight with the wind around 4:30/5pm tomorrow. Should I try for some inshore rockfish in the Ed Ricketts area, try to get a launch out of Coral st or go for glory and cruise along del monte beach for butts? Watcha think?

The wind has been a pretty big factor on the bay all week, especially in the afternoon. Keep an eye on the wind reports. You may want to make a plan B instead of Monterey... That's my 2c...

I just did the Point and Click on NOAA for the tip of Pacific Grove, 12 K at 6 am building to 18K at noon.  Down in the corner near the wharves, it was 7 building to 15.  Not a good day to go out in that area.  The local news at 5 showed the surf at Sand City - rows and rows of breakers. Not apt to be many flatties there even if you could somehow make it there.
If you just have to go out, maybe try Capitola or New Brighton, or possibly inside the cove at Stillwater, but even the rockfish tend to hunker down when it's as nasty windy as it has been.

Pretty flat this morning. But there are already sailboats out. So I bet it gets windy by noon.
I would launch from San Carlos and fish the jetty for lings, the row for rf/cabs/lings, and maybe those pocket beaches for butts. But I would NOT paddled north towards Seaside. At least, not that late in the day.

Bright orange Native Magic. Basically if you see what looks like an orange canoe being paddled by a yellow lifejacket, that's probably me.
