Was actually a great weekend for the race cuz the swell was pretty big and diving would not have been that great.  :smt002

If anybody ever wants to try and do a half marathon, this is a great one to do...beautiful course, mostly flattish and the hills that are on it aren't TOO bad/long...much smaller than say the Nike SF or the Big Sur courses. You finish right at the the beach and there are bars/restaurants and liquor stores right across from the finish.

Sincerely,

Jim

Bummer!! You would have been finished and home before I got done Martin!  :smt005

Really is a cool course though. Little on the "unorganized" side compared to some other events, but fits in well with Santa Cruz.   :smt004

I ran with a lady pushing a stroller and then a lady with a big old giant service dog in training...dogs and strollers weren't allowed on the course, but nobody cared. It was fun.  :smt001
