Fishing in Orlando, FL area?

oh, pack that skeeter repellant.  them SOBs everywhere!! 

I spent about 5 years living in a few parts of Florida running a tackle shop & boat sales.  The fishing in FL is GREAT!  Lived RIGHT on the intercoastal (Apalachicola river) and the fishing is 2nd to none!  Quite a drive from Orlando though.  All within a daily trip we could hit freshwater bass & cat fish in the waterway, heat out through the bay (brackish water) and land spec's, redfish, triple tail & more catfish ... at the pass to the gulf we could hit more redfish, spanish mack's & tarpon then be wide open in the gulf for king mac's, grouper, snapper, wahoo, durado & a wide assortment of big game fish.  Easily all done in a 19' boat!  Then on the evening boad ride in, grab some fresh shrimp from the offshore shimp boats & oysters from the local shuckers.   Ahh ... the good old days.
