I know some guys have shown interest in picking up either a Abu Garcia Revo Toro 50 or 60.

The Revo Toro 50 is $217.78 and the Revo Toro 60 is $225.55 at this site.  They are the HS (high speed) retrieve also.  Not exactly highway robber but pretty good if you don't want to be checking ebay on a regular basis.

Is that the older version? I think the new Toro Winch is black.
Still a very good reel. It is definitely worth the $139 I paid for it @ Turner's Outdoorsman in Aug 2011. Wouldn't pay more than 200 for it though.

Nope same version as far as I can tell Pat.  You are correct that the new Winch is black but there are several different models now and that may be the confusion.  The models are:

Revo Toro 50HS
Revo Toro 60HS

Revo Toro Winch 50
Revo Toro Winch 60
Revo Toro Winch 61 (left handed)

and the latest:

Revo Toro NaCl 50
Revo Toro NaCl 50 HS
Revo Toro NaCl 51 (left handed)
Revo Toro NaCl 60
Revo Toro NaCl 60 HS
Revo Toro NaCl 61 (left handed)

Good call. It's hard to keep up with all the different models Abu Garcia produces nowadays...it's like they hired too many people in their marketing department haha!

Why is it that every time I read the title of this topic I see, "Art Garcia Revo Bull"?   :smt005

I went with the Lexa 300, I think I am going to love this reel, cant see anything to complain about yet, and had 70-80 bucks cheaper.

I just bought a Lexa 300 myself. It seems real light. We shall see this year if it holds up to the revo's standards. Thats a good price on a Revo. Not great but good. Pity is the inshore is gone now. That was an awesome little ocean reel. Bass too.
