Steelhead in Salinas river

Anybody fishing the Salinas river or any other body of water in the monterey bay area for chrome this coming sat. or sun?

No but I would love to. I got the itch while up North this last weekend. Let me know if you want to hook up sometime.

Never heard of anyone catching chromers in the Salinas. Unless you have a time machine, because my uncle tells great stories about catching them in the 70s. But that doesn't mean it's impossible, just unlikely. There are, however, lots of steelhead in the San Lo right now...I heard.
