I just picked up my yak from jselli - just got home.  She's officially a barenaked lady - 36 hours isn't much time to rig, so I'll be in a bucknaked sunrise SPTW.

Anyone want to meet up at the end of Brighton Ave at 6am to launch around 6.30am and paddle out to meet guitarzan?  Or what's a good time?

I would like to launch at Bolinas also, maybe Sunday would be better for me.  I am leaving from Pacifica & can carry 2 yaks on my truck.

No guarantees but there are more reports from Coastside.  I'll be going both days (to improve my odds.)  Looks like some like Sat. and others Sun., so take your pick.

We'll be at launch# 2, its a good spot to truck-camp, launch and catch huge leapards at night right from the road, 10 feet from your truck, and 50 feet to put your yak in. Be fore-warned: camping in Bolinas will make you crazy for some reason, its an old Indian spell. San andreas fault is directly under town. I love it!

See you up there tomorrow.  Also, I need to go pick up some bait - so what have they been hitting on, anchovy or herring ?

A comment off fishingusa.com regarding the salmon near Pt Reyes:

"There are lots of silvers mixed in and if you are fishing with cannon balls I would switch over to mooching and not drop 50 pounds or more in lead."

(Silvers/Coho are illegal to keep - see Fish Talk thread for ID purposes)

I will probably prefer to mooch if we find a good bait ball.

I will be using 'chovies... If it's inconvenient for anyone to stop and get frozen anchovies, let me know and I'll pick up an extra tray for you.  12 per tray.

If  could pick up a tray for me that would be great. I didnt get any today and am heading out there in a few hours, I dont think theres a baitshop out there. I got some squid, eel and ab parts/guts for the sharks tonight, but spaced the chovies...
Thanx, Ben
