I just upgraded my old Seattle Sports bilge pump to the Aquabound Bilge Master.  The Aquabound IMO is better constructed.
It has stainless metal rod and has a cover on the inlet to help prevent clogging.
I tested both pumps in my backyard.  The Aquabound is definitely waaay smoother and easier to use over the Seattle Sports.
The Seattle Sports pump felt sticky while pumping compared to the Aquabound that was effortless.
Distance wise the Aquabound pumped water a good 15 feet away (good for water fights :smt001) while the other 4 to 5 feet at the most. If you're in market for a new one definitely check it out.

Great review! I think it's time for me to upgrade too.
Don't forget to add a 1ft length of tubing on the exhaust...it helps when you're pumping water out of someone else's hull!

I was curious as to the volume of both units.  Aquabound was kind enough to spell it out.   :smt002

Pat - The Aquabound pushed a water stream 15 feet away.  I tried it over and over.

Good stuff!  Maybe we should give the other brands a test on the water.  I have a scotty.  Do I hear a water fight challenge...anyone?

that blue and yellow seattle is a serious POS.  Avoid it.  It gets sticky, then ultimately stuck

15 feet is some serious distance!

Enough of these reports. First I bought the Hobie plugin cart, then those wire seal plugs, then that Kokatat drysuit, then the Scotty slip discs, then this? Monica won't invite you for dinner no more  :smt044

Well, you and Lino had a strong influence on me on getting an AI.  That's a bigger hit on the checkbook.  :smt003
