lake merced san francisco

Hey guys, fished lake merced a lot as a kid. haven't been back there for years.  Are there still fish in there and can we launch a kayak there?
Gots to find something to do locally.

You can launch at Lake Merced.North or South lake.You can also fish,but I don't think they plant very often.I would try bass fishing the tules.

I walk my dog there and always talk to the fellas fishing. Tout fishing is slow but they are there. Pulling a bass out of that lake is on my bucket list. Let me know when you plan on fishing there.
