And an unnamed person is complaining about unnamed committee members and it's the first I've heard of these complaints.  Maybe the unnamed person should send me a PM and we'll straighten their unnamed complaints out.

I think that sounds fair.  If I learn from anyone I'll be happy to send you a message.  Some guys from what I know feel a little intimidated by the committee and the more seasoned members of NCKA - me on the other hand, well, you know

Hey Folks – As a result of this thread I have heard recently from a few folks that one individual has been claiming that I deliberately broke the rules back in 2009 by fishing in a private bass pond.  I usually don’t respond to this stuff, but since this is an effort to slander my reputation, and by extension, the integrity of the AOTY committee, I want to publicly set the record straight. Many of you know my integrity and that I would not intentionally break any rules, this claim is a lie as no rule was broken. I am not going to engage in a public argument here, nor will I respond to this post and thread, but when your reputation is slandered it is a matter of principle to state the truth for the record.................and also because I come to this site for fun, adventure and friends, not immature BS. If anyone has further questions or needs clarification then PM me and I will provide details on the false claim.

I'd like to propose a new rule - the members who complain the most about AOTY issues in 2012 are automatically assigned to the AOTY committee for 2013.
