I have yet to get strong legs to trod thru that mud....maybe do a p90x then do what you did.  congrats on the CR

No mud walk at McNears, plus it's free parking the whole month of December. If you launch just South of the pier there is no mud, just some rocks plus the tri-athletes left their carpet on the beach so at low tide you haul out with the carpet treatment. Track down a Ranger if you need assistance and or let back into the overflow area so you can park close. Our number here is 415-446-4424, let us know your coming and we'll pull the bollards out, tight lines.
