Is it legal to drop a crab trap inside Half Moon Bay's harbor?

He is still there and hassled me last week for parking on the grass next to the kayak tent. Gave me a hard time about going out on a small boat advisory day too. At least that was about safety I think. Things have been slow there for over a week. I am going to launch at the old pier from now on.

By any chance did you get his name?

Nope dont remember it was a while ago but there was also issues with dropping off yaks at the HMK co. like GB2 said. He was mid 30's maybe? also said something about watch the WX and dont drop pots inside the harbor. Didnt get hassled the rest of the season and havnt been this season sense Im still in OR.

I heard the harbor patrol tell some guys that there was no crabbing allowed in the harbor. It was opening day this year. The guys had traps 10' from the jetty east of the jaws. The harbor patrol told them to pick up their traps.
