Discada Wok Project

What are you using for a disc?  I find the Scotch bright pads work great on old cast iron pans and such.  I would think the disc would be the same.  plus they don't strip as much metal off in the process.

I'm using 3 kinds on the angle grinder.
35 grit disc
60 grit flap disc
wire disc
I'm afraid the disc i got are really rusted so taking some metal off with the grinder is the only option

Might be time for a sandblast ... walnut shells or soda blast will remove the rust without taking off the metal or deforming the disc.
