I agree.

Josh, it will only take you a minute to make a post over here in the introductions section:

http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?board=64.0

And there are 55 pages in this Kayak Diving and Spearfishing section that I'm sure you could comment on AND I am sure members would appreciate hearing your comments/opinions as well.

One of the things I personaly enjoy about NCKA are the contributions of the members, and that goes along with the intent of making certain sections only visible to active participating members.

Sincerely,

Jim

I agree but I'm not a lurker either.  I was one of the people that worked on getting it passed and I'd like to participate in the thread.  I don't want anyone to think I'm being deceiptful so I'm making it blatantly obvious that I'm making the ten posts to actively participate in the thread.  No disrespect intended.  I'm a member of the Watermen's Alliance and the Monterey Bay Tritons.  The reason I'm not that active on this board is that I'm admin on another board which takes a large part of my time.

Got locked down at 5 posts so I still can't see it.  I believe the thread was dying down though as someone else said.

As Jim mentioned, I was one of the people that fought to get this fishery opened.  Since the motion passed I've been dealing with allot of PO'd anglers and fishing organizations that fear this is the end for striped bass in California.    I will try to reach the quota so that I can participate in the thread but if anyone has any questions or wants to beat somebody up about it, I'm your guy.

Like I said, I haven't been very active on this board but allot of you do know me.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions on the issue Josh.

I saw a few of your posts on other online forums and they were very well stated & thoughtful. I'm not sure what else there is to say about it (since it appears to be a done-deal anyways). But I'm sure your input is appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to signup and contribute. [btw quickest way to reach 10 posts is by simply replying to other people's posts...I bet there's a post/question/report in the Diving section to which you can contribute something positive]

thanks Sin.  Not sure there's much to say either but it's important moving forward that we are all in the conversation.
