... If i like the sport i'll probably get a hobie with mirage drive.

I need some kayak fishing buddys!  I would love to go kayak crabbing, and catch some good eating fish.

I believe you'll soon find out that you can forgo of the "....if I like the sport". You wont like it, you will love it. It's maddening but best of all, it's the brotherhood that would really amazed you.

There's a group going out crabbing this Saturday at Half Moon Bay (HMB). If you can make it, you'll have a blast. It's very productive since Opening Day. They're mostly on AI's though but there is the mighty G-Whiz aka Glen on a Revo. He'll lead you to productive sites.
My brother and I will be arriving late at 2pm.

Welcome!  I too joined NCKA yakless, debated if I'd like the sport or not, but bought once I pulled the trigger on a yak, I never looked back!  Just like everyone said, there's no IF you will like this sport, its more of how madly in love you'll be once you start.   

It sure is madness I tell ya...welcome again and hope to see you OTW.
