My advice/plan is to cover a lot of water via trolling and tossing topwater plugs.  If I find some, then drop spoons on schools under the sonar.

BTW, I thought it was a catch-photo-release event.  Delta striper population is way low right now.  Many fishermen have been fighting water wars and the striper re-regulation battles to save the fishery.

These events have always been Catch-Photo-Release/Keep
This allows for  the angler to choose C-N-R or to take a few home for dinner.
Next year, I might opt for a C-N-R bonus to help encourage release.
Either way, this is a family event and for now it is up to the anglers to make their decision.

See Ya There,
Eric / Yakhopper

P.S.
I will be planning for the 2013 season events .....
Any ideas are always welcome ... send me a pm if you have any thoughts.
