i have a good sized breakfast (i.e. pancake with eggs, sausage with rice, etc.) most of the time and make sure to hit the restroom before hitting the water.  i'm good until lunch and don't have to worry about eating instead of fishing...

My favorite Tourney Breakfast, made with my JetBoil in under 5 minutes even while half asleep! :smt002

Starbucks VIA Instant Coffee (Darn good stuff if you haven't tried it)
Quaker Instant Oatmeal (Maple and Brown Suggar usually)
1-2 Bannanas (sometimes in the oatmeal, sometimes as a snack later)

And usually that is enough to keep me going until the Tournament Lunch is served  :smt004

Not just for tourneys ...pretty much standard. Coffee First and Foremost, a banana or two, small V-8 and pack a couple P,B, and J's and various fruits for back-up.

The tackle box is stocked with waters, a granola bar or two and another V-8 floating around in the bottom. Always bring extra for others....golden rule.

Almost forgot...the sacred Snicker bar...not for eating! (some will know what this is all about)

I'm salivating just looking at that msubi Mooch. Good stuff!

I usually do coffee, a small juice, and a cup of granola. Unless pop-tarts are available  :smt003

I usually sleep through the alarm and wake up to my teammates banging on my tent, so I skip breakfast.  Anyhow, I am a firm believer that the keto acids my body secretes as a result of a skipped breakfast drasticly increase my catch rate.  :smt044

And having to catch and release a boneless brown trout while OTW can be seriously inconvenient and gross lol.  Never tried, never want to either.

I'm so glad you did't write speckled.
