if you look closely at the pics, you'll also see where my aka brace broke.  There's a plastic piece that is designed to break if you hit something with your akas/amas or put too much stress on the aka brace.  Its like $3, so I'm probably going to order quite a few to make it easy on me in the future if one ever breaks again.

Ben, while you are picking up the new "plastic piece"  ask for the plastic bolt and nuts that replace the metal bolt and nut that holds the "plastic piece" on. The newer AI bolts (basically a shear pin) are plastic and the aka swing brace thingy even has hole with a spare plastic bolt and split ring installed for on the water repair.  See the "mount4" picture in Pat R's reply on page one for an example.
