holy frickin' crap its hot

I spent 6 years in Tucson doing my University stints. That place is a little cooler than Phoenix, max ever i was there was 116 or 118.

Now before you go off and blabber about a dry heat, let me just remind you that it frickin' rains there in summer...

These are the things I think about when I hear people bashing CA.  We reach tripple digits inland for a couple days and call it a heat wave, the rest of teh country hits tripple digits every day and call it summer. They can have there 6 bedrm houses sitting on 5 acres for $50K, I'll pass.   

Word! 

That said, the a/c in my van died yesterday.  Recharged and now it's blowing nipple-hard cold air.

Ya man, I was sweating balls yesterday in Monterey--it was like friggen 74!

windy,foggy and cold in South City  Being an Islander, I'll take the heat any time 

At work now at Travis AFB. Windy and cold! Wahoo!

Thought I was in for a heat stroke yesterday it was like 85 and sunny ...yuck....I am more of a FOUL  weather fisherman..

I just watched it ten times.....

I'm running my wood stove at nite here in Fort Bragg.  i think it's about 60-65 here today.

 

  Chandler AZ, 119*  Although today was a chilly 90* with possibility of rain tonight.

Dave my garden is too, about half my tomato plants are dying and the fruit is just starting to get ripe. I got all my plants down here in Santa Rosa, the must be coastal plants. lol   

Killed almost all the cuke plants! and believe it or not the zukes too!

i live in pittsburg where it was 102. i drove 15 minutes west on highway 4 and its 68 in richmond. i hate the heat.
