Not too worried about it but got me thinking... Its A known fact that sharks dont like rare earth magnets right? What if you replace the lead in your weight belts with rare earth magnets? ( As long as you dont dive near metal).... Wonder if it would actually work? Any one wanna test for us??  :smt044

I thought about that before.  I was watching shark week this last summer and a guy from Cali was testing the magnet theory and it seemed to work.  Think I will wait though for someone else to try it!!  Although, I heard from a local surf shop owner today there was a g.w. spotted at SWS yesterday....... haven't heard from anyone else but I trust the guy.

With your abalone boner going, you wouldn't fit in a shark anyway :smt005

Dove Stillwater today... lots of bait, anchovies I think, judging by the mouths. Huge schools of them buzzing around.

No sharks... but I did see a big bull sea lion.

I have to admit, it is a little bit unnerving diving in 2 foot vis in the cove.
