Probably a little before sunrise out of mbk, unless we're going to pajaro, which means paddling out @ 4:30ish. Depends on the reports. I'm sure these guys will have it figured out in a few days. SinCoast is a knowledeable local, so what say u Pat?

All quiet on the bestWestern front right now. There's only been about 5 boats fishing the sand city area the last couple days (compared to 80 a few weeks ago). Not sure if that means the majority of boats are north of Moss still or if it means the ghosts are gone for now?
So, I guess there's a decreased chance of catching one. But that just means it'll feel even better if/when you do catch one!  (-:
Marine forecast doesn't look great. Heck it's gonna be flatter in Big Sur than Monterey. About the only thing going for us is the water temp (61*) and tide (high @ 10am).

Doable, but can't be sure until u get out there. I'm planning to go, but have no squid. Gotta stop be a safeway down there- my local Safeway doesn't sell squid
