It's unfair to assume that I'm keeping the bite on the d-lo, especially given both the early Pajaro and MB reports. The ironic thing is that there is little change in the details from those reports - even if they're over a month old.  Also, there's a fine line between sharing an interesting experience and just bragging. If you've ever fished with me, you'll know that I go out of my way to avoid the latter.

The bite has been on for 2 months and the details haven't changed much; easily obtainable from usafishing, bayside or CS. It's usually locate or start the fleet and drift until you've either had your fill or just can't take it anymore.  If you enjoy a variation of watching paint dry (sturgeon fishing), you'll have a good chance of succeeding at landing a wsb.

Now if it were a hot crappie-on-HGH bite, that's something to be hush hush about.  :smt044

Here's a report from today where I was at the right place at the right time. A little past the hotel and using squid of course.  :fishing1

Thanks Nudling,
I'm really more interested in how to convince my wife on getting an AI like yours than landing the elusive wsb.
But for now I'll settle for a ghost.  Hope beginners luck applies to me. :smt003

Head as far north as you can but start fishing wherever you are before grey light.

Hai - glad you got some fish. Guess John and I should have launched earlier.

Thanks for the tip Scott.  Ranch99 had no frozen squid so I picked up some "fresh"  We plan to leave Danville at 3:15 - 3:30.  The forecast looks windy later in the day so the morning bite will have to be our target.  Would MBK be a better launch considering fishing as far north as possible?

OK guys I'm as ready as I'm going to be!
Leaving Vallejo at 2:15 and meeting up with Danny at the CG station.  He say it's a better launch.
I have to be Out of the Water by noon to make it back home since it's my son's birthday.
See you guys there Martin and Dave and the rest.

Hope my ghetto gear holds up :smt003
