One I've lived by is nobody cracks a beer until the first fish is in the boat.  It's more of a guideline though, desperate times call for desperate measures!  :smt001

It's generally best not to bring an especially large cooler with ice in it because it virtually guarantees that you won't be needing it.

True!

I also throw back the first of each type of fish before I feel I have the right to keep any.

If I walk or paddle by trash without at least trying to clean it up I feel I may get skunked or worse.

Karma more than superstition, I guess.

Dosn't anyone else bite the heads off of their frozen fin baits?

Mooch told me all the "real" NCKA'ers do this, but it hasn't been helping my fishing.
I notice my cat is friendlier towards me though.

Randomness rules the universe. Perseverance is the only path to success..but luck sometimes works too.

when i release a sturgeon i kiss it before i drop it back in the water...it keeps the juju going .

I do this to any undersized fish and tell him "now go tell your daddy on me"  :smt044.  I do agree with sonny about having a banana for the leg cramps, I just have it before I launch.  When I shore fish and see a butterfly or even a little bird land on my pole, kinda gets my hopes up  :smt003 it did happen one time landed a nice 32" striped bass after a swallowtail landed on the tip of my rod *shrugs* but I could be either way on this one.
I don't intend on winning any tourney's, I intend on fishing with the brother's OTW and having a good time while at it... NCKA!
