When do the Albacore start to show  up here?        I know a guy with a boat ,  I mean trailer,   now....    :smt003   

I'd totally pay to have a local boat mothership my yak to the tuna-hunting grounds! Never been, so maybe i'm talking out my a$$

If anyone has seen polepole fillet an albie, he makes those guys look slow. What is the name of the knife you use Allen? After that trip on the Y Worry, I climbed aboard the next trip and Doug had got 2 of those knives. He said "Now we can fillet tuna fast". I replied "As long as you invite Allen evey tuna trip."

Forschner 12" Cimeter, Granton Edge.

I learned by watching Bobby Doi (sp?).   He used to use a 12" Slicing Knife, Granton Edge.  Same style ... similar to what you see in the video.
