Mike, I think Saturday actually looks waaayyyyy better the wind is down and the swell check it out

let me know, Thanks

OK - I just checked both links - and it looks big both days - take a look and tell me what you think.

Plowing through 6-7 foot swell from an exposed shorebreak - for me - generally means swimming out and towing the boat.  Too bad you can't duck-dive a T-15...

It looks more than doable, wind is down big time, the swell shouldnt be that bad, I and Ty will be at BH around 7:00AM will see, if it looks bad we are heading back, you wont know till you go there..let me know if your still thinking of going..otherwise we might have second thought...Thanks

I won't be fishing, but it looks to me like 6-7ft @ 8sec, falling to 3ft @ 13sec by the evening. I figure that is probably the tide change? site I check has wind @ 5mph for the day...
I have fished it like that, and once it was great, the other times not...seems the wind always comes up around 11am when its like this.
good luck if you go!

I'm going to try and meet you guys out there. Looks like there is a small S swell in the background so we'll see what it looks like. Pigeon can be backup, usually can do decent paddling around the lighthouse point.

Sounds like you guys are gonna give it a shot on Saturday.  Good luck!  If, by any chance, there is a group going on Sunday, I would love to tag alone :D

I feel bad to have started the hookup and not be going, but the weather looks tough.  I'm going to hold off for a mid-week try when things look flatter.  Hopefully I'm wrong and it's great tomorrow - go get 'em!

So I didn't brave it this weekend - but I'm going tomorrow.  Tomorrow afternoon.  I'm leaving the city around noon, so I'll be launching around 1:30 with Bill.  PM me if you want my number to coordinate.  We're going to try EKG - if it's not launchable, we'll probably fish the Jaws or the Dove.
