Another one takes a swim in the bucket. Backing the tube off the edge so it wasn't so tippy did the trick. He stuck his nose in the tube several times before going for it. The first pic is at 10:30 PM. He goes swimming at 1:30 AM. It happened too quick for the camera to catch the tube tipping over.
Man, I wish I had something better to post. What a sad state of affairs.

What camera are you using—is it a game camera?
I am thinking about setting one up to catch our Springer Spaniels versus Voles MMA backyard action.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that he is using a Reconyx RM45 Rapidfire.  :smt002

LOL. I am so used to ads on YouTube et.c that I don't even see those graphics in the corners any more—I tune them out. LOL

I love it!!!  So simple I doubt a patent would apply, but it IS a better mousetrap.  You did it.  Well done.

I never get tired of seeing critter cam shots.  IMO the home version is no less interesting.  Look at him on your countertop, the cocky little bastard... right where you make sandwiches and stuff.

Yep. When we lived in an old house in the Rose Garden of SJ, we never realized the little rascals went everywhere in it at night (no dogs then). An inspector showed us all the signs—it was an eye opener. Bass Pro has some good deal on game cameras, I need to get a few for the yard–should show some great Spaniel action if nothing else.

I need to figure out which one of my wife's cats is peeing in the garage under my workbench! A critter cam seems like a great way to find out which one...although I'm not sure what my next step would be. I haven't thought that far ahead. And honestly, I'm probably just looking for excuses to get a critter cam haha! Thanks for the motivation, Juan!

I'm replying to this thread at 1:15 am, because my cat, as she does, has just brought a mouse in. She loves to dump them amongst my tools and fishing gear so she can keep me awake another few hours re catching it.

I've got one you can borrow Pat  :smt002  Haven't played with it that much, but since someone went through Sara's car the other night (almost caught them too!  :smt013) I'm thinking of putting it in my truck as a security cam now  :smt044

What is bailene? I know what baleen is. Great shooting, master of the video. I will pick you up for Ocean fishing on the 13th. If its doable that is.
