KOA in San Juan Bautista would be A better bet Pat! You have catfish bass and sunfish all catch but no keep. The trout are no throw back for A fee and close to home. Good luck get Duke on some fish!

Yeah dude, if it was just me & Duke I wouldn't be going to a trout farm! I just take Duke to the CG jetty or Carmel when we fish together. But this is about my brother-inlaw and his kids. Then visit gramps in Burlingame.    :~)

pat if you ever want to head out east with dukey you just ring me up.  i'm banned from the fishing this year for the most part (i think you know the reason for that), but I think i'd be allowed to bring you guys out to the lakes in my comfy boat.

Used to be a trout farm between Scotts Valley and Boulder Creek. Don't know if it's still there. Been a lot of years. I do remember using a large hook. Kept the smaller trout off and/or they were not able to hook themselves deeply and came off before landing. More fish on without being forced to keep them and bigger keepers

Skeet Reese event in auburn, took my girls and they nailed 6 trout, 7.6lbs. won a hat, tackle box, DVD, hugs and pictures with Skeet... Great day... Get those girls fishing early 'cause @ 14 they "DON'T fish Dad"
