Sonny, Merry Christmas to you and your family! Thanks for that scouting report; I'm happy that you got the opportunity to get out.

I, too, went fishing off the rocks early morning @ 5:30am before I had to open my shop at 10am. It was COLD here also, as the temperature read 42 degrees. Luckily I was layered w/ 3 pants and 3 tops, along with my ski mask lol.

Since this rainy weather I've been looking to try some sturgeon fishing in the near future. But before I do go out, I'm getting things prepped for this type of fishing: dino snare, anchor and trolley, and all the other fun stuff lol.

Hopefully, I'll get the privilege to join you my brother, along with others!!

Wishing everyone a beautiful Merry Christmas!! :D

- Daniel

I took that picture befor he put on the drysuit.  One good thing about the drysuit is you can wear all the warm clothing underneath to keep you cozy :cold

About time I read the post. Not much more to contribute. I was indeed well dressed for the occasion. Did suffer the loss of a anchor and chain. Figure the cause was a weak link in the brass chain. Major wing man Sonny had a spare anchor for loaner. Have some pictures to make my late posting worthwhile. Real proud of my ghetto rod balance via Hobie pedal, no patent pending at this time. dave...
