I bought mine at sunrise in livermore. He didn't have my size so he ordered it for me. I bought it when they had their 20% off coupon for rewards members.

Clavey Paddlesports. 707-766-8070 Mention NCKA 10 % off. Tell them Craig sent you. They were big sponsors of the Albion Open last year. Aquan Sports? Not so much. Outback? No!

Clavey was great. I had to return an item there thatr my wife got me 2 yrs ago. Not a problem. Stand up shop. I tossed them a few bucks for a hat a T when I was heading to Albion. Nice to help the places that help us. I believe outback sponsors the site (the MO reports section I think). Not sure about Aquan other then the 10% discount they offer. Mods correct me if I am wrong.

Maybe not but I'll support any store that Joel stands by.

Thx everyone for your kind input. Outback doesn't carry it and clavey's was a bit far. I stopped by aquan on the way to see a client in Burlingame and bought it there. Looking forward to keeping my toes nice and warm. For the next dungie trip or upcoming sturgeon hunting.
Have bought one thing or another at all these places, and all have been great thus far.
Tight lines (or traps) and see y'all OTW

Eric:
those words are start a whole new thread AGAIN on whether to wear a wetsuit or not (and safety ramifications) like last year.   :smt003

Hi Jonathan,

Wish I would have saw this thread earlier and could have given you another option. I own the Tempest pants and think they are good, but I would have told you to look at the Kokatat Goretex Whirlpool Bibs which I think are great. They are a little heavier and much more costly, but for safety measures and waterproof zipper fly they are fantastic. If you get the Kokatat Rogue Dry Top you'll be very close to a dry suit in terms of safety.

I'm starting to work on my Christmas list.  I put the whole suit on the list as well as the pants.   Any thoughts on the suit?   Is the suit the only way to go if you can swing it?

i have a suit as well as the pants. The suit is great but really warm so I only use it for real winter time fishing. so I don't think its an OR kinda thing. If you have to just get one go for the pants and dry top.

Close but not exactly.  The Tempest pants have a wide elastic waist with velcro flaps...  And the waist goes pretty high, like old men wear their pants.

All specifically designed to mate up with a skirted dry-top.
