How are the Mares Razor, good for a newer diver?

very good I have a pair and love them and you can get parts and buy them at Bamboo reef in Rohnert Park here is there phone 707-586-0272 !!!!!!!!
the other fin I would recomend is the fiberglass blades from 20fathoms

the local dive shop has these, and there not too overly priced..

how thick of a bootie can you fit in these? ill need the biggest size as is..

You will have to use a dive sock not a hard soul booty ! and depending on the size foot pocket and if you get cold feet  that will determine the thickness of your dive sock I dive with 5 mill socks and my feet never get cold

yeah, 20fathoms stuff is nice, I met Dennis Haussler, the owner I believe while i was out at SWS on day this year, super nice guy and a wealth of information. He emailed me all kinds of great info, cool guy. Might have to support his business for all the help hes given me.
